Freckle & Zulu are brother and sister who were trapped when very tiny with their mother. All were living rough in a dirty lock up garage and Cats in Crisis volunteers were able to trap them late one night in January after many failed attempts. Their mum eventually had to be put to sleep as she had serious wounds to her upper body that just wouldn't heal.
Little Zulu had four legs but only three feet; he has recently had his crippled leg amputated and is doing much better as it doesn't get in the way any more.
Freckle and Zulu are very sweet, gentle, but extremely nervous little babes who need a very quiet indoor home with understanding owners.
Update, 15 May: We are thrilled to report that Freckle and Zulu have found a lovely new home.
