Max

Beautiful ginger Max belonged to a very loving family, but he became ill and they simply could not afford the vets bills, nor the cost of the expensive special food that he is likely to need, so Max was handed over to us for rehoming.

Max needs a very special person, who will give him a lot of love and affection, and make sure that he stays an indoor cat. He was at the vets for over a week with a serious infection and blockage of the bladder. He is now clear but must stay on a strict diet with prescription food, so he cannot go out or be where there are other cats on ordinary cat food.

If a new owner would be able to pick up the cost of his on-going treatment, that would be wonderful. But if the right person and home came along but they couldn't afford all the expense involved, we might be able to continue supporting him.

Max is a fabulous cat and worthy of every effort to find him a new home and the chance of a new life. He needs a new home very urgently.

Update, 18 July: we've found a great new home for Max, and it's all going well so far! Thank you (you know who you are!) for taking on a special needs cat.

Jack

Jack is the last of a litter and his owner couldn't find anyone to take him, so here he is with Cats in Crisis. Jack is a great little character, very affectionate and amusing. He is also very greedy!

Update, 5 July 2010: we are pleased to report that Jack has found a home.

Posh and Becks

Brother & sister, ginger Becks and black & white Posh live up to their namesakes. Posh gives the impression of being rather aloof and stand-offish, but when you insist on petting and stroking her she seems to enjoy it - for a while, then off to do her own thing.

Becks however is everyone's friend. He loves a game of footie with the other kids, is a great poser and very affectionate. They must go together.

Update, 5 July 2010: Posh and Becks have found a new home.
